Advanced Settings

Fine-tune how each asset appears in Apple Vision Pro - adjust position, rotation, scale, anchoring, and per-type options.

Every asset you upload comes with a set of advanced settings that let you fine-tune how it appears and behaves inside Apple Vision Pro. To reach them, open the asset you want to edit and scroll to the end of the page, where the advanced settings are grouped together in their own section.

The options available depend on the type of asset - for example, position, rotation, scale, and anchoring for 3D models, or audio tracks and subtitles for Apple Immersive Video. The sections below explain the settings you'll find for each asset type.

360 Video

  1. Rotation: X (pitch), Y (yaw), Z (roll).
  2. Mirror the video display horizontally, reversing the image from left to right.

Standard Video, PDF Document, Website & Spatial Experience

All experiences inside Apple Vision Pro are fixed to the user's view, positioned in front of them at a distance of approximately 2 m / 6.52 ft. In this section you can edit and personalise the user's perspective.

  1. Position in different units of measurement: Y (up/down), Z (forward/backward).
  2. Scale, adjustable via slider.

3D Model

All 3D assets inside Apple Vision Pro are fixed to the user's view, positioned in front of them at a distance of approximately 2 m / 6.52 ft. In this section you can edit and personalise the user's perspective.

  1. Position in different units of measurement: X (left/right), Y (up/down), Z (forward/backward).
  2. Rotation angles in degrees: X (pitch), Y (yaw), Z (roll).
  3. Scale in metres, adjustable via slider.
  4. Dimension: Width, Height, Depth.
  5. Anchor, which defines how the 3D model is positioned in your environment - no anchor for free movement, or floor anchor for stable, realistic positioning.

Apple Immersive Video

Add tracks and subtitles

Pro & Enterprise plan only

When you upload an Apple Immersive Video, you can set up multiple audio tracks and subtitles so the video can be experienced in multiple languages - letting users listen to and read the content in their native language.

When uploading or editing an Apple Immersive Video:

  1. Select the language you want to upload.
  2. Click the add button next to Subtitles to upload a .vtt file.
  3. Click the add button next to Audio Tracks to upload an audio file (.mp3, .wav, .mp4).
  4. Choose a file from your device.
  5. Select the language for the uploaded audio or subtitles.
  6. Click Done to confirm.

Kiosk Mode

Let the Apple Vision Pro user start, pause, and control playback on their own - ideal for unattended, self-service kiosk setups where no one manages the session from the Spatial Companion app.

If you have enabled “View Resource on Apple Vision Pro” in Team Settings, you can turn on the flag that lets the Apple Vision Pro user independently manage playback of this resource.
