iPadOS Interface
Get to know the Spatial Companion app for iPad - from the Welcome page and Dashboard to managing Devices and guiding sessions with Live View.
Overview
- Open the Spatial Companion for iPadOS application.
- Use the app as a control centre to manage Spatial Computing experiences on Apple Vision Pro.
- Upload content by accessing the relevant upload sections within the app.
- Orchestrate experiences by selecting and managing uploaded content.
- Guide users remotely by using the available controls and features in real time.
Welcome page
- Open the application.
- View the Welcome page displayed on launch.
- Read the overview information provided.
- Swipe left or right to navigate between sections.
- Continue until all sections have been viewed.
Dashboard
- Open the application to access the Dashboard.
- View all uploaded files under “All content”.
- To filter content:
- Tap one of the categories displayed to the right of “All content”.
- To search:
- Tap the Search Bar.
- Enter the content name.
- To sort:
- Tap the button next to the Search Bar.
- Choose alphabetical or date-based sorting.
Devices
- Navigate to the ‘Devices’ screen.
- View all connected devices.
- Identify connection status by colour:
- Grey indicates not connected.
- Coloured indicates connected.
Live View
- Ensure the Apple Vision Pro is connected.
- Open the ‘Live View’ screen.
- View what the headset user is seeing.
- Use on-screen controls to manage the experience.
- Adjust actions based on the content type.
