Open Spatial Companion remotely
To open the Spatial Companion app remotely, create a shortcut on Apple Vision Pro. Before handing the device to the customer, set up an automation using the pre-installed Shortcuts app.
- Open the Automation tab in the sidebar.
- Tap the add button in the top-right corner.
- Select Messages.
- Configure the Sender and the “Message Contains” condition.
- Set the automation to Run Immediately.
- Tap Next in the top-right corner.
- Select Create New Shortcut.
- Tap Open App.
- Choose Spatial Companion.
- Tap the checkmark button to save.
When the Apple Vision Pro receives the selected message, the Spatial Companion app opens automatically. This feature requires an internet connection. Alternatively, you can set up the Shortcut to open Spatial Companion when the device connects to a Wi-Fi network.
