Types of contents you can upload:

3D Model

A fully 3D object rendered directly in the user's space. The user can move, scale, and rotate the model with natural hand gestures, and place it anywhere in the room. If the model contains one or more embedded animations, each can be activated or paused with a double-tap. Supports physically based materials, textures, and lighting.

If the model is structured with a parent-child mesh hierarchy, an Explosion view is available - parts separate and spread out spatially, letting the user explore the internal components of the object.

Models can also be placed in Plane Anchored mode, where the object is locked to a detected real-world surface (floor or table) and stays in place as the user moves around.

PDF Document

A PDF document rendered on a large flat panel in the user's space. The user can scroll through pages, zoom in on details, and read the content comfortably. Ideal for manuals, guides, reports, brochures, and any text or image-rich documents.

Website

A live web page displayed on a flat 2D panel in the user's space. The user can browse, scroll, tap links, and interact with the page just like in a standard browser - all within their immersive environment. Useful for embedding live dashboards, documentation portals, or interactive web apps.

Portal Experience

A portal gate is a window into another world. A framed opening appears in front of the user who can physically walk through it to enter a fully immersive environment on the other side. The portal can be filled with a 360° image, a 360° video, or a 3D scene. The content is anchored to the portal center - everything the user sees inside is relative to where the portal is placed.

Standard Video

A standard flat video displayed on a 2D screen floating in the user's space. The user can watch it comfortably alongside other content. Ideal for presentations, tutorials, and standard video content.

360 Video

A 360° spherical video that completely surrounds the user.

Once played, the entire environment is replaced by the video - the user can look up, down, left, right and behind to explore every direction of the scene. Ideal for virtual tours, immersive storytelling, and spatial experiences.

360 Video preview in Spatial Companion

180 Video

Immersive video formats designed for wide-angle and spatial projection. 180° videos wrap around the viewer's forward field of view, creating a deeply enveloping half-dome experience. Wide FOV content uses embedded lens intrinsic and extrinsic metadata to faithfully reproduce the original capture perspective with precise geometric accuracy. Both formats can be monoscopic or stereoscopic, and the correct playback mode is determined automatically from the file's projection metadata.

Spatial Experience

Spatial photos and videos use stereoscopic capture to deliver a true sense of depth and presence. Unlike standard 2D media, spatial content creates the perception that subjects and scenes exist in real three-dimensional space around the viewer. Supports multiple projection modes - from flat stereo 3D to 180° and 360° immersive formats - as defined by the embedded metadata.

Apple Immersive Video

Apple Immersive Video is a high-resolution stereoscopic 180° video format designed specifically for Apple Vision Pro.

It delivers a cinematic, fully immersive experience that surrounds the viewer in a 180° field of view with spatial audio. Captured at 8K per eye, it is the highest quality immersive video format supported on the platform.

Gaussian Splatting Beta

Gaussian Splatting is a next-generation technique for capturing and rendering photorealistic 3D scenes. Instead of traditional polygonal meshes, a scene is reconstructed as a cloud of millions of tiny colored 3D gaussians ("splats") that together reproduce real-world lighting, reflections, and fine detail with striking realism.

Once uploaded, the splat scene renders directly in the user's space and can be explored from any angle with natural movement - ideal for lifelike environment captures, real estate walkthroughs, and cultural heritage.

Support for Gaussian Splatting is coming soon and is currently in beta - specifications may change before general availability.
