Tools in Live View

When you share content with Apple Vision Pro, use the controls in the bottom-right corner of the Live View page to manage it.

The available options change depending on the category of content you are sharing, so each content type gives you a different set of tools in this section.

Use the drawing tool to sketch directly on the shared content. You can draw freely, erase specific strokes, or clear the whole drawing to start over.

Trigger an explosion of the 3D model to see how its parts fit together. You can view the exploded model as a whole or isolate a single component to inspect it on its own.

Anchor the 3D content to a detected surface so it stays fixed in place in the real environment as you move around.

Tap the More button (three dots) to access the tools available for a 3D model:

• Bring to Origin — recenter the model to its original position and orientation.
• Play Animation — play the model’s built-in animations (if the model includes any).
• Magic Explosion — separate the model into its individual components for an exploded view (if available).
• Explosion Enabled — reassemble the exploded components back into the complete model (if available).
• Plane Anchored — anchor the model to a detected surface so it stays fixed in place.
• Spatial Drawing — draw freely in the space around the model, erase individual strokes, or clear the whole drawing.
• Gesture Lock — lock interactions so viewers can’t move, rotate, or resize the model.
• More Info — view the file’s details.
• Dark Mode — switch the display appearance to dark.

Tap the gesture lock button to prevent user interaction.

If the video appears misaligned, tap “Realign Position”.

If a user has selected the wrong language, you can change the audio and subtitles by clicking the flag icon.
